I think makeup is an artform, which is why I have so many different products. I love trying new things and experimenting with different colors and makeup companies. 


I don't think makeup should be over-the-top as much as I love these photos, but I do believe that a little bit of makeup goes a long way in freshening one's look and added some glitz!


I wanted to share some of my current favorite products with you:

    I love MAC make up and wear lots of their products. Love their Strobe Cream!

    I love MAC products and, for a budget alternative, I also used a lot of Avon. The quality I find is always really good and it's a cruelty free line (which is a must in any makeup that I buy but cuts down on what products I can use because, except for Almay and Revlon, all the drugstore brands test on animals).

    I basically swear by Maybelline New York Volum' Express The Colossal Mascara in Glam Black - it is my favorite. And I adore mark lip glosses!

    right now i'm on a real e.l.f. kick...their lipgloss is cheap and works surprisingly well. for blush i usually stick with tarte or lorac in hot flash (it's a bronzer/pink blush duo) and for mascara, nothing does my lashes like chanel inimitable in black, i received one in a gift basket and have been hooked ever since.

    Make-up is definitely an art form. Some looks are really diifficult to do! I love getting inspiration from magazines and TV. There's so much you can do:-) I'm following you! Check out my blog too if you want to.

    Makeup certainly can be a creative activity and I admire those skilled at it.

    My close friend Doe Deere owns LimeCrime which sells very bright colors (lipsticks and eyeshadows), so I'm partial to them. I also like Urban Decay.

    Have you ever tried the Maybelline Great Lash in Blue? It's pretty amazing if you just use it on your lower lash line. Great post! :)

    Urban Decay has a wonderful vegan line!! i'm just about to order all new stuff from it and I couldn't be more excited.

    I love all of this make up. I am simply terrible at applying wild make up. Luckily, my best friend is a professional make up artist so she is always practicing on me. We are talking everything from wild glamour to bones poppin out of skin. so much fun!!

    I'm with you on makeup -- I like to keep it pretty and natural-looking. I'm a big fan of Neutrogena concealer and powder, and Dior mascara is literally magic.

    I don't think makeup should be over-the-top - AGREE- there are very few items on my make up kit- body shop lip and cheek or mac for blush on, Maybelline lip gloss, Maybelline face powder and fanny serrano's concealer (very affordable but really make wonders)..i really love to read your posts. again, thanks for reading mine.. :)
